18.25"X14.25"X7.25" Unglazed Rectangular Bonsai Pot. Hand made in the Yixing Province of China. Known for centuries their excellence in ceramics and fine clay pots.Yixing (pronounced yeeshing) bonsai pots come from the Yixing region of China, located about 120 miles northwest of Shanghai in the Jiangsu province. Yixing Bonsai Pots have been renowned since the Sung Dynasty (960-1279) when the unique Yisha clay was first discovered in this area. The art of yixing-ware Bonsai pots matured and flourished in the Late Ming and Qing Dynasties (1573-1911) when master potters gave each Bonsai pot its distinctive finish.This tradition is still carried on today.These wonderfull Bonsai pots are for anyone who appreciates fine artistry and craftsmanship.lfunl15
